Returns and refunds
bluemall.ch is operated by JTI Ventures AB, a Swedish limited company (aktiebolag), company registration number 559041-2358, Andesitgatan 6, 254 68 Helsingborg, Sweden. Swedish VAT number SE559041235801. We have no Swiss subsidiary and no Swiss MWST registration, and all orders are shipped from Sweden (EU).
30 days to change your mind — our own commitment
Switzerland has no statutory right of withdrawal for distance purchases. The 30-day return period is therefore a voluntary commitment from us, and it applies on the terms set out on this page.
The 30 days run from the day you receive your order. Contact us within that period if you want to return an item.
How to register a return
- Email info@bluemall.ch within 30 days of receiving your order. State your order number and which items you want to return.
- Wait for our reply before sending anything back. We confirm the return address and how the parcel should be sent. Without that confirmation we cannot match your parcel to your order.
- Return shipping. We do not offer free returns as a general rule. Who pays for the return of your particular order is confirmed in our reply, before you send the item.
- No drop-off point. We have no physical stores, in Switzerland or anywhere else, so items cannot be handed in or collected in person.
Condition of the item
Items must come back in original condition, complete with all parts, accessories and the original packaging.
You are of course welcome to examine an item the way you would in a shop: unpack it, look at it, check that it works. If it is handled beyond that — used, worn, washed, assembled or damaged — it is no longer covered by our 30-day commitment.
Pack the return so it survives the journey. Use an outer box so the original packaging is not damaged or taped over.
What the 30-day commitment does not cover
- Items that have been used, worn, washed, assembled or installed rather than simply examined.
- Incomplete returns: missing parts, accessories, manuals or original packaging.
- Items damaged after delivery, or damaged on the way back to us because they were inadequately packed.
- Sealed items that are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene, once the seal has been broken.
- Goods made or adapted to your specification, such as personalised or engraved items.
- Goods that deteriorate quickly or have a short shelf life.
If you are unsure whether an item is covered, ask us before you order.
Refund
Once the returned item has reached us and been checked, we refund what you paid us for that item, to the payment method used for the order. If you want the status of a specific refund, email info@bluemall.ch with your order number.
Import VAT and customs charges
Prices are shown in CHF and include neither Swiss import VAT (8.1%) nor customs clearance charges. The amount shown at checkout is the amount you pay us. Because the goods are sent from Sweden, import VAT and a clearance fee may be charged to you separately when the order enters Switzerland.
Those amounts are not paid to us and are not part of the price you pay us. A refund from us therefore covers what you paid us; import VAT and clearance charges levied at the Swiss border are not refunded by us.
Faulty or incorrect items
The 30 days above are about changing your mind. A faulty item is a separate matter: defective goods are covered by the statutory liability for defects under Swiss law (Gewährleistung). We do not add a separate guarantee of our own with a fixed term.
If an item arrives damaged or faulty, or does not match your order, email info@bluemall.ch with your order number and a description or photo of the problem.
