Correctly determining the direction using a compass is still one of the most reliable and proven ways to facilitate movement in unmarked terrain. ROTATING LIMBUS (rotating ring with a scale in degrees for determining the azimuth on the map and a 36° scale with half degrees. The rotating dial is equipped with a fluorescent ring that glows in the dark. The rotating limbus allows precise determination of the direction, thanks to which the user can easily determine and track his course. The notched sides of the azimuth ring facilitate operation with gloves.
LEVEL - A distinguishing feature of this model is the use of a spirit level that helps keep the compass in a perfectly horizontal position. Thanks to this, even on uneven terrain, you can make precise measurements without fear of error resulting from incorrect setting of the device.
FLOATING SHIELD - the key element of the compass is floating dial with fluorescent magnetic needle . The needle, coated with a fluorescent substance, is clearly visible in all lighting conditions, which is especially useful when navigating in the dark. The disc on which the needle is placed floats in a non-freezing liquid, which ensures its stability and smooth movement and minimizes the impact of shocks and vibrations on the operation of the needle. Thanks to this, the needle quickly and accurately indicates the direction of magnetic north, which is crucial for effective navigation.
