When you want to adjust the volume, change the song, make a call or get directions, just say "Hey Siri" and speak about what you want. You can choose to use both AirPods or just one, and when listening to music or podcasts, you can start playback or skip ahead with a double tap. AirPods provide five hours of listening time and three hours of talk time on a single charge. And thanks to the charging case, you can use them even longer – the case provides several additional charges and a total listening time of over 24 hours. Need to charge your headphones quickly? 15 minutes in the charging case is enough for three hours of listening or two hours of talk time. AirPods are powered by Apple's new H1 chip and are equipped with optical sensors and motion accelerometers that detect when you have them in your ears. Whether you use both AirPods or just one, the H1 chip automatically redirects the sound and activates the microphone. When you talk on the phone, or with Siri, a voice accelerometer works together with beam-forming microphones to filter out background noise and focus on your voice.
